Have you ever wanted to make your own automatic windshield wiper or perhaps just detect if there is water outside your car? I played around with set of transistors and builder small circuit that can detect water if terminal wires are exposed to water. This setup works with just about any type of water regardless of its level of conductivity (well maybe not with distilled water) We can expend the board to have a relay instead of buzzer. My original requirements for this project were to create sensor that can detect if there is any condensate in the trunk so it can be eliminated before it ruins my electronics.
